What We Do
Roadside Farm Stand
In the spring and summer, we sell eggs, herbs, and plant starts at our roadside farm stand on Old Stilesboro Rd. It’s where the name Plant and Peck originated!
Our farm stand operates on an honor-system and is open most Sundays from 10 AM – 7 PM from March to September. Eggs usually sell out quickly, so we recommend stopping by early!

Arts & Craft Markets
Many of the animals on our farm are raised for fiber. We use that fiber to create different products like home decor, craft kits, felted items, homespun yarn and more. Additionally, we lean into commercially-made yarn and felt to create additional items for kids and for the home. Some events we have vended at include:
- Acworth Art Fest (2022 & 2023)
- The Art Station’s yART Sale (2025)
- The Art Station’s Big Shanty Bazaar (2025)
Stay tuned on our social media for future arts and crafts events! We often bring Alfie with us too as our farm ambassador, so come by just to say hi!
All sales are put back into the farm to support our animals (through feed, vet care, etc.) and to help us continue our work in the community.

Education
We love doing educational work in the community. We can often be found doing events at the West Cobb Regional Library, but also offer educational experiences to other libraries, schools, community groups, and more. We are able to bring one or more of our bunny ambassadors to events, and we can also come talk about other farm animals like chickens, ducks, goats, and (pet) pigs (with lots of pictures!).
Message us to see if we are able to visit your group! We are able to visit groups within a 30 minute (10-15 mi) radius for no charge, and only ask for a small fee for gas for visits up to an hour and a half away (15-45 mi).
Some events we have done in the community:
- Fluffy Bunny Storytime: After listening to stories about bunnies from the librarian, children and families had the opportunity to interact with some of our bunnies. We had three rabbits in a large pen that children could feed treats to and watch hop around, and one that was out in a stroller for petting.
- Chickens 101 (For kids and adults): We have done several educational programs and presentations on chickens, either to learn about them and their role in egg production or to learn how to raise and care for them in your own backyard.
- Getting Started with Sourdough: This presentation simplifies the process of sourdough bread and teaches participants how to get started on their own sourdough journey, starting with mixing flour and water together to make a starter.

I am also working with different organizations and local businesses to offer fiber arts workshops!

In addition to off-site educational programs and interactions, we are also working on an on-site workspace. Please check out the Bunny Barn page to learn more!
