Education and Outreach

While we do not offer farm tours or on-site classes, there are still many ways to experience our animals, art, and classes! Use the Contact Us form to inquire for more information or to arrange a visit, and check out the types of events we offer below!

You can also check out our Photo Gallery for more examples of events we’ve done in the past.

Mobile Classes

Though we are not able to accommodate groups on-site, we do have several classes that are designed to come to you! Mobile classes include:

Fiber Animals and Their Fiber – A presentation on various fiber animals, a brief overview of fiber to fabric, and hands-on interaction with various fibers & a live angora rabbit.

From Fluff to Stuff – A presentation on the process of going from a fiber animal to a finished knit/crocheted project (with a live angora rabbit).

Getting Started with Drop Spindling: Learn the basics of spinning fiber into yarn.

All About Rabbits: An overview of rabbits, their characteristics, and their care. Special focus on Angora rabbits. Participants get to pet and feed an angora rabbit after the presentation.

Intro to Natural Dyes: Discussion of the different plants and processes involved in natural dyeing. Plenty of samples to look at, and a hands-on dye element can be added as well.

Getting Started with Needle Felting: Gain understanding of the basic elements of 2D needle felting by creating needle felted designs on pre-made wool dryer balls.

How do I set up a class/workshop?

Please reach out through the Contact Us page with information about the location, audience (ages, estimated number), and what kind of program you are looking for. Classes can be adapted for almost any audience!

We will let you know if we are available as well as more information about pricing. Like other visits, pricing is dependent on distance, estimated time, and materials costs (for craft workshops).

Additionally, if you are looking for a true farm-to-fiber experience, we have done joint programs with the Lost Mountain Alpaca Ranch in Powder Springs. We can reach out to them and see if they would be interested and available in hosting your program and offering an alpaca farm tour (at an additional charge). For small groups (under 10), we can also accommodate you in our Bunny Barn instead!

School & Library Visits

We are able to visit public schools (classrooms and afterschool programs) and libraries within a 30 minute (10-14 mi) radius for no charge, and only ask for a small fee for gas for visits up to an hour and a half away (15-45 mi).

We offer several different programs to these groups:

From Fluff to Stuff: A presentation on various fiber animals, a brief overview of fiber to fabric, and hands-on interaction with various fibers & a live angora rabbit.
Best suited for middle school and up, though we also have a younger version with the book, If You Want to Knit Some Mittens.

All About Rabbits: An overview of rabbits, their characteristics, and their care. Special focus on Angora rabbits. Participants get to pet and feed an angora rabbit after the presentation. Suitable for upper elementary and up.

Bunny Storytime: Several stories about bunnies, songs, and the opportunity to pet and feed one of our angora bunnies. Best suited for younger children.
